The centre offers 3 types of the treatment and rehabilitation programs, which are as follows:

  1. Short-term – 3 to 4 Months
  2. Mid-term   –  5 to 6 Months.
  3. Long-term – 7 to 12 Months.

The short-term and mid-term programs are carried out in three phases, each lasting 1-2 months. The long-term program also goes through the three phases but the duration of stay in each phase is longer depending on the specific needs of each client.

Phase one includes detoxification and physical as well as mental stabilization. Most cases require both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy

Phase two is basically the working through phase, whereby, the client learns and identifies the causes, precipitating factors, personality  & negative temperamental traits, assimilates them and resolves to change.

The client learns the triggers that contribute to relapse and develops the skills and motivation to cope with the challenges of normal life, he or she will face after the discharge. Discharge planning and preparation for social reintegration back to the community, is the key to relapse prevention.
